A consortium of leading nuclear engineering and management firms that operate the Canadian Nuclear Laboratories is announcing an $80,000 donation to North Forge East to support economic development in Pinawa.
A consortium of leading nuclear engineering and management firms that operate the Canadian Nuclear Laboratories is announcing an $80,000 donation to North Forge East to support economic development in Pinawa.
The small town in Manitoba, located 110 kilometres northeast of Winnipeg, is home to CNL’s Whiteshell Laboratories.
According to North Forge, the new funding from the Canadian National Energy Alliance will be used to stimulate the local economy in Eastern Manitoba and support ongoing operational costs. In total, the consortium has donated $400,000 over the past five years to help support entrepreneurial initiatives in the region. ....
