The Wyoming Health Fairs of Casper held their annual blood draw at the Clearmont Community Center and Library on Saturday, April 24 from 7 to 9. The most popular screening was the Chemistry Panel, which checks the blood for 33 different factors, including cholesterol, Glucose, Magnesium, Calcium, and Potassium. This gives participants a look at what might be going on that a doctor might have to be informed about. Results could either be mailed or emailed, and could be sent to the patients doctor if desired.
Other tests that can be done at the health fair include thyroid screenings, vitamin screenings, PSA and blood sugar. The tests are usually less expensive that the same tests at the hospital. ....
