Don t wish for it, work for it : CHS alum awarded military volunteer service medal

Caseyville native and Culinary Specialist 2nd Class Jaguar Alexander, was awarded the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal aboard USS Constitution earlier this month.
The Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal is awarded to service members who perform outstanding volunteer community service of a sustained, direct and consequential nature.
“Don’t wish for it, work for it,” said Alexander.
Alexander has served in the Navy for six years, and her previous command was the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8).
Alexander is a 2010 graduate of Collinsville High School. ....
