Vaccination clinic scheduled in Wood County | News, Sports, Jobs

A free appointment-only COVID-19 vaccination clinic for residents 65 and older will be held Thursday in Wood County with appointments based on the existing waiting list, the state said on Monday.
The clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the West Virginia University at Parkersburg Center for Early Learning, 300 Campus Drive, according to a joint press release from Gov. Jim Justice, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources and the West Virginia Joint Interagency Task Force for COVID-19 Vaccines.
The clinic and others around West Virginia are through the Operation Save Our Wisdom initiative to immunize older residents of the state. This week’s clinics, which will be held from Wednesday to Saturday, are available for residents 65 years of age and older, the release said. ....
