ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan has demanded a thorough investigation into the reports of illegal uranium trade in India, after seven more people were arrested for possessing radioactive material.
The statement comes after police in Indian Jharkhand state on Thursday arrested seven people for possessing and planning to sell ‘mineral uranium’ in the black market, according to The Indian Express.
“We have seen the reports about yet another incident of attempted illegal sale of 6 kg of Uranium in India,” said Foreign Office spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri in a statement on Friday. ....

Industrialisation to make KP trade hub: CM Mahmood Khan

NOWSHERA: Chief Minister Mahmood Khan said on Friday industrialization was in progress in KP as per the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan that would make the province a trade hub.
He was talking to the media during a short visit to the Nowshera district where he met retired Lt-General Alam Khattak, former district nazim Daud Khan Khattak to offer them condolences on the death of their aunt and mother of Engineer Ahmad Ali.
The chief minister told reporters that Rashakai Economic Zone, industrial estates at Swat, Dera Ismail Khan and Chitral were being set up that would make KP a trade hub once again. ....
