On April 7, during the bi-monetary policy announcement, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) had announced the setting up of a committee to undertake a comprehensive review of the working of Asset Reconstruction Companies (ARCs) in the financial sector ecosystem. Now, the banking regulator has invited views and suggestions from various stakeholders on various aspects of ARCs.
The views and suggestions are invited around: review of existing legal and regulatory framework applicable to ARCs and recommend measures to improve efficacy of ARCs; review of role of ARCs in resolution of stressed assets including under Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code (IBC), 2016; suggestions for improving liquidity in and trading of security receipts; review of business models of the ARCs; and any other matter relevant to the functioning, transparency and g ....

Banks not just major shareholders of and lenders to Asset Reconstruction Companies but also sellers of non-performing assets to them
It may be necessary to monitor if there is a circuitous movement of funds between banks and Asset Reconstruction Companies (ARCs), according to an article in the Reserve Bank of India’s latest monthly bulletin.
This observation comes in the backdrop of banks being not just major shareholders of and lenders to ARCs but also sellers of non-performing assets (NPAs) to them, it added.
A movement of this kind can have implications for the genuine sale of NPAs and the overall growth of the ARC industry, said RBI officials Amarnath Yadav and Pallavi Chavan from the Department of Supervision, in the article. ....

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KAIT/KY3) -Several women said they’ve noticed changes to their menstrual cycle after getting the COVID-19 vaccine.
According to a report from content partner KY3, one woman shared her experience, saying she lost between 24-32 ounces of blood in a short amount of time.
“The bleeding was so heavy,” Sara Staples said. “I would go to the bathroom, four steps later I’d have to go right back. I mean, 15-18 grams is what the tampon is supposed to absorb. I was doing that four times in 20 minutes.” ....
