Sky Lakes Medical Center says that its next three upcoming COVID-19 vaccination clinics have openings available for people looking to receive the vaccine. The clinics on Thursday and Friday are open to anyone 18 and older. Those clinics are being offered on the fourth floor of the original medical center. People age 16 or 17 can schedule their first-dose shots for Saturday at the Sky Lakes Collaborative Health Center. This clinic will use the Pfizer vaccine only, which has been approved for younger groups.

As of Wednesday, 20 Oregon counties submitted letters attesting that they were ready to move forward: Benton, Coos, Crook, Deschutes, Douglas Grant, Harney, Jefferson, Josephine, Klamath, Lake, Lane, Lincoln, Malheur, Marion, Morrow, Sherman, Umatilla, Union and Wheeler.
