Bodybuilder and charity worker caught with £15k of Viagra says it was for 'personal use'

In court it was heard that the manager of the Royal Mail depot in Derry had raised the alarm after he became suspicious of a package that was being posted to McGlinchey’s address in the city.
The manager then alerted the police who accessed the package and found 1,000 Viagra pills before searching McGlinchey’s home where they found another 2,000 of the tablets as well as £1,000 stashed in the microwave.
The police also found items which linked the defendant to the charges of intent to supply, including a notepad detailing his different clients as well as their steroid dosages and different strengths and a mobile phone with text messages which further incriminated him. ....

Body builder with 'a lifetime supply' of Viagra gets suspended sentence for drugs offences

A charity worker, body builder and personal trainer who bought “a lifetime supply” of 3,000 Viagra tablets valued at up to £15,000 after he separated from his wife has been sentenced.
Gareth McGlinchey admitted 20 charges of possessing and possessing with intent supply a series of drugs, most of them steroids.
McGlinchey (43), from Summer Meadows in Londonderry, was caught when the manager at the city’s Royal Mail depot became suspicious of a package posted to the defendant on August 17, 2016.
The manager alerted the police and when officers opened the package they found 1,000 Viagra tablets. The police then went to McGlinchey’s home and there they found a similar package containing another 2,000 Viagra tablets as well as £1,000 cash in a microwave. ....
