VIRGILIJUS JANULEVICIUS, 59, of St Mary Street, Southampton. Found guilty of assault by beating. Remanded on bail. Adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared. JORDAN LUKE BENNETT, 25, of Bedden Way, Chandler s Ford. Convicted of assault by beating. Community order made for 12 months to include 90 days of alcohol abstinence and 20 rehabilitation activity days. Restraining order made not to contact his victim. Fined £100. Ordered to pay £150 compensation, £85 court costs and £95 victim surcharge. ....

1/1 A WOMAN remains in a critical condition after falling from a block of flats in Southampton. A woman suffered multiple serious injuries after falling from Hightown Towers in Warburton Road. Police and paramedics raced to the scene at about 3am on Monday and she was rushed to hospital. According to police, the woman remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition. Commenting at the time a spokesperson for South Central Ambulance Service added: We received a 999 call at 2.52a, this morning with the caller reporting that an adult female had been found on the ground outside Hightown Tower, Warburton Road, and she had possibly fallen from height. ....
Chapel Drove, Horton Heath Officers investigating reports of gunshots have charged a man. The charges come after a member of the public reported that a firearm had been discharged at an address on Chapel Drove, Horton Heath at around 6.45pm on May 16. Kieron Kimber, 28, of Warburton Road, Southampton was charged with one count of assault, one count of theft, one count of possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, one count of robbery, one count of breach of bail and a Section 4 Public Order offence. He was remanded in custody and will next appear at Southampton Magistrates Court on June 21. ....
