(Seguin) – There is a new team member to the Schertz/Seguin Local Government Corporation. Amber Briggs Beard, General Manager of the Schertz/Seguin Local Government Corporation (SSLGC), is pleased to announce that Valentin Ruiz, Jr. has recently joined the Schertz/Seguin Local Government Corporation as assistant general manager.
City officials say Ruiz brings over 35 years of progressive management experience of water production facilities and water distribution systems to SSLGC.
Prior to joining SSLGC, Ruiz served in various executive leadership roles at the San Antonio Water System including Vice President of Treatment and Production, Vice President of Customer Service, Vice President of Distribution and Collection and Vice President of Operations. Ruiz earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University. ....
