A resident of Driftwood Estates in Sandestin, Osborne has been involved in legal wrangling with the county over flooding in the residential area for a number of years. At issue is a disagreement over stormwater retention standards.
Osborne s latest legal effort asks Judge David Green, to whom the case has been assigned, to determine whether the County is using the proper standard for stormwater retention and to determine if the County s (sic) has improperly and/or illegally made changes to state standards set for Sandestin as a designated development with regional impact (DRI). ....
