Vietnam carmaker calls cops on customer for 'untrue' YouTube complaint

Vietnamese car maker VinFast has reported one of its customers to the police over comments he made on YouTube about the quality of his car.
Tran Van Hoang, a Vietnamese YouTuber with 455,000 followers, uploaded videos about his VinFast Lux A2.0 car containing “untrue content” which “affected the reputation of VinFast,” the company said in a May 2 statement.

“Although Mr. Tran Van Hoang proactively removed those clips, we saved all the evidence and have sent our complaints to the police,” the statement said. “The police have received our submission and have scheduled a time to work with Mr. Hoang.” ....

VinFast has reported to the Vietnamese police that one of its customers is making false claims about the quality of his car on his YouTube channel where he s amassed 455,000 followers.
Tran Van Hoang is the Vietnamese YouTuber accused by the automaker of uploading untrue content which affected the reputation of VinFast. Vietnam s indigenous carmaker VinFast has reported one of its customers to the police for making untrue comments on YouTube about the quality of the company s car. The customer made complaints about the VinFast Lux A2.0 car that he owns.
VinFast issued a statement saying that the Vietnamese YouTuber with 455,000 followers called Tran Van Hoang uploaded untrue content that affected the reputation of VinFast . Although Mr. Tran Van Hoang proactively removed those clips, we saved all the evidence and have sent our complaints to the police, the statement added. ....
