New date for Eden Valley Hospice 30th anniversary challenge

Eden Valley Hospice has announced a new date for its 30th anniversary challenge in Nepal and needs people to join up.
The hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice, said following the difficulties presented in 2020 and this year, its 12-day special event will now take place in October 2022.
Fundraisers will start at the banks of the Bhurungdi Khola River, and, over five days of trekking, ascend to Poon Hill for a spectacular sunrise over the Annapurna Massif, Dhaulagiri and enjoy views of the snow-capped peaks of Annapurna and Machapuchare.
Eleanor Viney, Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw fundraising manager, said:  “Along with completing an amazing challenge and providing a compassionate hand to hold for local people, fundraisers will also be able to give something back to the Nepal community. ....
