Drone images are capturing the pace of work in Great Yarmouth where a new bridge is being built crossing the river Yare.

The changing landscape of Great Yarmouth s riverside has been captured by drone.
Just weeks into a major two-year project to build a third river crossing the streetscape is already much changed with homes and gardens flattened.
Photographer Simon Carter has launched his drone over building works for the third river crossing, documenting progress so far. This shot shows Queen Anne s Road where a terrace of homes used to look out over Mind s community garden. ....

Work starts on Great Yarmouth's third river crossing

William Adams Way will be widened to create a dual carriageway.
Great Yarmouth s vision for a Third River Crossing, for which construction will begin in 2021 and be finished by 2023.

On the South Denes side the lifting bridge, which will stand around 7m tall, will connect with the existing road network.
Mr Mulholland said the most challenging section would be when it came to working in the river.
The bridge itself is being built in two halves in Belgium and will be floated over by barge.
Installing it will mean completely closing the river to traffic for 72 hours and timing the operation almost to the second. ....

Work on a third bridge across the River Yare in Great Yarmouth is due to begin next month - bringing some temporary traffic measures to the town.
Last month, the government approved funding worth £98m for the long-awaited Third River Crossing linking the A47 at Harfrey’s roundabout to the port and the enterprise zone on the other side of the river.
It is hoped the bridge will support economic opportunities in the wider borough as well as ease congestion in the town. ....
