WILLIAMSTOWN Williamstown City Council met Tuesday to discuss the following orders of business:
¯ Council voted to give Mayor Paul Jordan the authority to sign a resolution to support the Parkersburg Wood County Home Consortium, which is a program through the Department of Housing and Urban Development that facilitates funding for affordable housing.
¯ Williamstown Middle and High School tennis coach David Leo spoke with the council about vandalism concerns at the tennis court in Tomlinson Park. Additionally, 19 out of 30 light bulbs are burnt out and cost $900 each to replace. According to council member Marty Seufer, the city may be able to use some of its stimulus money to assist with this, as well as repaving the tennis and basketball courts. ....
