Hale County to host drive-thru vaccine clinic
The Plainview-Hale County Health Department will host a drive-thru Moderna COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Plainview – Hale County Health Department, 111 E. 10th St.
All paperwork, vaccination administration and the observation waiting period will be done while participants remain in their car. Everyone age 16 and up is eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine in Texas.

Covenant Children s launches new fundraiser
The Covenant Health Foundation will kick off a two-week community fundraising campaign, Champions for Children, benefitting Covenant Children’s and its care for kids on Wednesday. As the only licensed children’s hospital in West Texas, countless children and families have been impacted through the life-saving care received at Children’s.
With more than 90 individual participating locations, this program will be an opportunity for communities across the South Plains to support this crucial ongoing work. Guests inside participating businesses can give $1 (or more) at checkout to support Covenant Children’s. ....
