Six Colorado counties move to Level Clear; businesses can operate with no COVID-19 restrictions
While many are excited to put the pandemic behind them, some businesses say they need time to begin operating at 100% capacity with no restrictions.

DENVER After more than a year of COVID-19 restrictions and safety protocols, businesses in six counties have the option to begin operating the way they did before the pandemic. Sunday, Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver and Jefferson counties all moved to Level Clear, meaning they can operate at 100% capacity and not require face coverings.  ....

The Argus Leader won 34 awards at the South Dakota Newspaper Association s annual Better Newspapers, contest, following the announcement of the winners on Thursday afternoon.
The paper took home 16 first place awards in the category of daily newspapers with a circulation of over 7,000 including Best Website, Best Use of Social Media and Public Service.
The Argus Leader also placed first in that category s Sweepstakes award, based on total points accumulated from individual awards earned.

UI student charged with having fake ID allegedly tells police "my mom will have a field day with this"

A University of Iowa student charged with having a fake ID is accused of telling police his mother was going to get involved in the case.
Iowa City Police were called to The Sports Column on South Dubuque Street just after midnight Friday for a subject refusing to leave and fighting with staff.  Arriving officers found 19-year-old Ethan Quinn of Currier Hall being held down by bouncers in the entryway.
Police say after they handcuffed Quinn and began walking him to the squad car, he began twisting and trying to pull away. He allegedly said, “My mom will have a field day with this!” Quinn was then directed to the ground. ....
