Fall River Police Make New Bedford Gun and Drug Bust
A New Bedford man was arrested Monday following an investigation by the Fall River Vice and Gang Unit.
On Feb. 1, the vice and gang unit joined the Fall River Major Crimes Division, the Metro Boston Gang Task Force, Massachusetts State Police and the New Bedford Police Department to execute search warrants at 2120 Phillips Road, Apartments 2 and 18 in New Bedford.
Police seized seven pounds of marijuana, $280 in cash, a Springfield Armory XDS-9 9mm firearm, seventeen rounds of 9mm Luger FMG ammunition, and two 9mm magazines, Fall River Police Capt. Jay Huard said in a media release. ....
