Acker named Gatorade Wisconsin Boys Track and Field Player of the Year

VERONA, Wis Verona’s Jackson Acker has been named Wisconsin’s Gatorade Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Year after his performance at the state meet.
The Wisconsin football commit won both the shot put and the discus and anchored the Wildcats’ 4×100 relay team to a sixth place finish at the Division 1 State Track and Field Meet.
