My uncle/cousin books a Wagon-R CNG from Shivam Autozone, Kandivli West, Mumbai, during end of March 21. Self financed.
Delivery was supposed to happen in mid-April (the dealer had the same coloured car indented by another customer, but cancelled, and my uncle got the booking to his name). FnF Booking amount paid on 5th/6th April. Booking confirmed. We receive the Vehicle Allotment Email within next 3 hours of booking amount settlement.
Come April, Mumbai/MH went under lockdown. RTOs shut offices from 10th/12th April 21.
Car arrived at the dealer s Vasai stockyard around 9th/10th April, 21. ....

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Mahmood Khan on Wednesday directed the Communications and Works Department to ensure merit and transparency in its overall contract awarding process.
Chairing a meeting to review progress on the reform initiatives being introduced in Communications and Works Department here, he directed the officials to avoid unnecessary delay in contractual procedure and ensure issuance of work order to contractors within a time period of one week positively.
Special Assistant to chief for C&W Riaz Khan, Secretary C&W Ijaz Ansaari and other relevant high ups attended the meeting, said a handout. AS an additional transparency measure in the procurement and implementation of agricultural projects and interventions, the Department of Agriculture (DA) 7 will create a seven-member group called Integrity Circle.
It will be comprised of private and government volunteers representing various sectors of agriculture, such as farmers, fisherfolk, consumers, civil society organizations, church, and academe.
They can observe DA 7’s procurement or bidding processes, provide DA 7 their observations, and participate in community dialogue.
This was revealed on Thursday, April 23, 2021 during the one-day orientation on the Agriculture Dialogue Information Network Group (Ading), a DA program that installs additional measures to ensure that funds and programs are not wasted. ....

ISLAMABAD: The government should commit itself to fiscal discipline, minimise wasteful expenditures and maintain complete transparency to demonstrate that public money is used in the most judicious manner, a voluntary network Taxpayers Alliance Pakistan said.
Taxpayers Alliance Pakistan released 14 points charter of demands for the upcoming budget of 2021/22. Taxpayers Alliance Pakistan is a voluntary network and any Pakistani citizen, individual or corporate body, who is a taxpayer and agrees with the mission can join the network.
