ZANESVILLE – Unusual as it may sound, sometimes a flag football injury can change the course of a career. It did for Steve Galloway – now the general manager and PGA head golf professional at Green Valley Golf Club.
“I played a little golf as a junior,” he explained. “I probably quit playing when I was 14 or 15 to concentrate on baseball and basketball. I didn’t play again until I was 35 years old. I hurt my shoulder playing flag football and decided to try golf. I started playing with a group of real good players and just fell in love with it. ....
