Griselda Grabs Wale, Lloyd Banks, Dave East & More For 'Conflicted' Film Soundtrack

Griselda will make their film debut with the release of
Conflicted on Pay-Per-View next Friday (January 15). One week ahead of the premiere, the Buffalo-bred wordsmiths release the soundtrack featuring the sounds of Wale, Dave East, Lloyd Banks, Smoke DZA and more.
The second single “The Hurt Business” was released on Tuesday (January 5) and features Westside Gunn alongside Wale and DZA. It followed Benny The Butcher’s “3:30 in Houston,” which was released last month and told the story of Benny getting shot outside a Houston-area Walmart during an attempted robbery in November. He also addressed Wendy Williams.
“Fuck all the bloggers, the n-ggas who shot me, fuck all the opps, and fuck Wendy Williams,” he raps on the track. “Can’t trust nobody, it’s all smoke and mirrors, I still ain’t make no real friends in this business.” ....

The highly touted, astonishingly prolific Buffalo New York label Griselda Records has announced their debut feature film CONFLICTED for January 15th, available as a Pay Per View. Directed by AK Reed, the film is an urban tale depicting Benny the Butcher as a Buffalo gangster who struggles to do right after being released from prison. Faced with the dilemmas of his fresh start, Hunter (Benny The Butcher) declared never to go back to the game that had cost him his freedom. In the process of getting back on track, he falls in love but is soon confronted with the demons of his past, leaving him CONFLICTED. Conflicted, which Westside Gunn has been teasing for a while. It stars
Benny the Butcher, Westside Gunn, Dave East, Armani Caesar, Boldy James, Michael Rapaport, J Holiday, Duece King (who also wrote it), and others. The film comes out January 15 via pay per view (tickets).
