25 Sri Lankans arrested in India for drug trafficking

Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana stated that 25 Sri Lankans were arrested by the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) for transporting narocotics on two raids which were conducted near the island of Minicoy.
During the first raid which was carried out on 05 March, 06 Sri Lankan nationals were arrested when the ICG inspected a fishing vessel that set sail from Chilaw.
It was also revealed that more than 200 kilograms of heroin were dumped in the sea during the raid.

Among the newest generation of bands in the tradition of West Coast psychedelia, Triptides have blossomed into the role of elegant adventurers, continually discovering their sound
through a complex map of familiar influences and bold choices in tonality, structure and texture.
Starting in 2010 in the college town of Bloomington, Indiana, the band moved West, and so did their influences. A new Cajun restaurant honoring the roots of an Acadiana chef will soon open in Lafayette.
Chef Kris Allen, currently the executive chef at Pamplona, will open the doors to Roots, an authentic Cajun restaurant that pays homage to Allen s childhood and the recipes he grew up on.
Roots will open on Tuesday, March 9, with initial hours from 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. on Tuesdays through Thursdays and 4 p.m. - 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
It will be taking space in the old Cafe 329, located at 329 Dulles Drive. ....
