Date Time Good news flows to Cecil Plains as Council relaxes High level water restrictions After many months of High level water restrictions, Cecil Plains residents are in for some reprieve with Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) winding back restrictions to Medium level effective immediately. The decision comes after welcome rain recently filled Cecil Plain’s weir, improving upstream water sources. TRC Water and Waste Committee Chair Cr Rebecca Vonhoff said it was great news for Cecil Plains and she thanked residents for their efforts. “After some good rainfall, Cecil Plains Weir is overflowing and after careful consideration Council decided to wind back restrictions, for now” Cr Vonhoff said. ....

NEW cycle routes could be introduced around Royal Wootton Bassett to reduce air pollution and to tackle climate change. EcoRWB Cycle Working Group, which launched in January 2020, has come up with several and hopes the first one, between the high street and Ballard s Ash sports ground, could be in place by the end of the year. Presenting the idea to the town council at its full meeting, group member Dave Knight said: “We are working to increase cycling in our town to reduce climate change impacts, localised air pollution, traffic congestion and to benefit the health, wellbeing and economy of our community. ....

Riding her first international ever at the CDI Grote Brogel in July 2020 and one month later her first European Championships, the now 22-year old has a bright future ahead of her with two horses to ride in the Under 25 division.
