Plans for 75 new homes on a Bourne End field next door to the Hollands Farm site that is already earmarked for hundreds of new houses have been revealed.
The seven-acre Jacksons Field, which is to the north of Hollands Farm, could have around 75 news homes built on it if new proposals are successful.
The Noe family have owned the land for many years and are working with Capreon, a real estate investment firm, to bring the site forward for housing. ....

Plans for 122 new flats on Abbey Barn Lane could be refused

It is understood 60 would be for affordable rent.
There are also 50 parking spaces planned, vehicle access (via Pine Trees), and an allotment area.
The flats would be age restricted, starting 55 years and up.

However, the proposal faces rejection, in part because it will result in “the loss of much needed employment land”.
Another reason is the “lack of design quality” in the building proposed for affordable rent.
The site is also allocated for employment development in the Wycombe District Local Plan.
“This proposal directly conflicts with the most relevant adopted policy, which allocates this part of the Abbey Barn South site for employment purposes only,” a planning document states. ....

Councillor's 'major concerns' revealed amid plans for up to 50 homes in field

A councillor has revealed his major concerns at plans to build a house estate in a High Wycombe field.
Cllr Brian Pearce said he is deeply disappointed at Buckinghamshire Council s plans to build up to 50 new homes in a former Green Belt field off Horns Lane.
The land is owned by the council and was removed from the Green Belt as part of the Wycombe District Local Plan and allocated for housing instead.
Cllr Pearce, who represents Booker and Cressex, told the Bucks Free Press he feels strong opposition to the development as it stands. ....

Bucks Council agrees 'in principle' changes to Princes Risborough expansion

It “expands on” the Wycombe District Local Plan adopted in August 2019.
It sets out when, where and how homes, schools and infrastructure should be built, phased and funded, while proving “a framework to guide the preparation and assessment of future planning applications within the area”.
The expansion is the “largest single housing allocation” in South Bucks, comprising around 2,500 new homes and associated infrastructure, including two primary schools, sports pitches, and a new relief road serving as a complete alternative to the A4010, with two rail under-bridges.
Bucks Council has secured a £12 million Housing Infrastructure Fund (HIF) grant towards the first phase of the relief road, known as the Southern Relief Road (SRL). ....
