A VIRTUAL carol service has been held to celebrate the hard work of the emergency services and voluntary sector this year.
Traditionally the Blue Light Carol Service is held in St Mary s Church in Bridport around this time of year. Since this could not be arranged this year due to the pandemic, a virtual service was held instead.
The service went ahead on Thursday, December 17 and allowed supporters to watch the celebration on Youtube. The virtual service was viewed by far more people than usual.
Gary Hepburn of Wyke Regis Church gave up his time to compile the service with help from the Wyke Regis choir and a number of readers, all of which were welcomed at the start of the service by Dorset s Lord Lieutenant, Angus Campbell. ....
