Votran Schedules Public Workshops For Feedback

Daytona Beach, FL – Votran is working on major updates to its transit development plan, or TDP, and has two public workshops scheduled for next week. The TDP is a 10-year strategic planning document assessed and updated every five years to provide a guide for the development of the transit system over the next decade. Bobbie King, Volusia Community Service Operations Manager for Votran says that public participation is an important part of developing the TDP. Votran Hosting Community Input Workshops This Week

South Daytona, FL - Votran is in the process of making major updates to its transit development plan (TDP), which is a ten-year strategic planning document, and they are looking for community input during workshops this week. Bobbie King, Volusia Community Service Operations Manager says they’ll provide information and talk about how those that attend can be involved. She says they are trying to educate the public on Votran’s service and get their insight on what could be done better. Answer questions about what they know about Votran, what they think we could do to improve the service itself, and what they could expect in the future ten years for Votran. Public participation is an important part of developing the TDP, according to King. She says the workshops are just one way to be involved.
