19-year-old dead, gunman wanted after shooting in Lexington Jul 24, 2021 9:42 PM EDT Deputies say the shooting happened Saturday afternoon in the 100 block of Miranda Drive. “Based on information from witnesses, the shooter left the scene in a black Nissan Maxima, which we have located,” said Sheriff Jay Koon in a press release. “We don’t have much else to go on at this point.” Sheriff Koon said detectives are continuing to interview neighbors who live in the area of the shooting. He says the interviews will likely be beneficial in finding the suspect, adding they’re also following up on any leads that may come in. ....

(WIS) - A Lexington man faces felony charges after deputies accused him in two cases related to the sexual abuse of a minor. The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department said a family member of one of the victims reported the crime in December, sparking an investigation. As deputies looked into it, they found another victim. Both victims are under the age of 10, Sheriff Jay Koon said. Donald Sadler, 47, was arrested March 4 at his workplace. He faces charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor. ....

(WOLO)– Lexington County deputies say Devin Boineau, 29, was wanted by Richland deputies for attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and breach of trust in connection with a December 3rd incident in Gaston where he is accused of shooting a man. Investigators say on Thursday he initiated the chase with Richland Co. deputies. Ultimately, Lexington Co. Sheriff Jay Koon says his deputies spotted Boineau in a stolen car on I-26. Deputies say he was then pursued back into Richland Co. where he ran into a spike strip and was arrested near East Boundary Rd. ....
