Lahore, March 03, 2021 (PPI-OT): Inspector General of Police Punjab Inam Ghani said that Pakistan Day Parade to be held on March 23 in Islamabad is a very important national event in which the participation of Punjab Police contingent is not only a source of pride for the police department but also the police personnel filled with high spirit of patriotism should fully participate with hard work and full determination doubling the splendour of this event.
He further said that troops of other national institutions and forces would also participate in the Pakistan Day Parade which would further promote national unity and patriotism. Therefore, best arrangements should be made for the participation of Punjab Police contingent and senior officers should not leave any stone unturned for preparation and practice of the force in this regard. Lahore, December 23, 2020 (PPI-OT): Inspector General of Police Punjab Inam Ghani has said that RPOs, DPOs should not only formulate security plans under their supervision for the protection of Christian places of worship across the province on Christmas Eve but also ensure proper checking of security duty of sensitive churches in the field and also pay special attention to the efficient use of modern technology in security arrangements. He added that full use should be made of CCTV cameras, metal detectors and walk-through gates for the security of A-category churches, while additional personnel should be deployed for the security of places of worship and parks besides Christian places of worship. ....
