The £15.1m development sits on a 4.85-acre site and is broken down into 64 apartments and 26 bungalows. There are also communal facilities, including a laundry, lounges and landscaped gardens. The homes themselves are offered in one- and two-bedroom options. Single bedroom bungalows are 560 sq ft, while their apartment counterpart is 539 sq ft. Two-bedroom bungalows are 668 sq ft. The apartment equivalent is 646 sq ft. The extra care homes are not just for the elderly, with seven bungalows being reserved for younger tenants who have lifelong disabilities. All residents of Jackson Gardens will have access to 24-hour support to aid them in living independently. ForHousing and Knowsley Council are working together to allocate the homes. ....
