A three-year-old boy who died from an aggressive form of cancer has been remembered by people in Carlisle.
Stanley Dalton had T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia and was given just weeks to live in June.
After a successful fundraising appeal, the then-two-year-old went to Singapore for potentially life-saving treatment, but he died at the end of January.
Blue bows were tied around Carlisle as his funeral cortege passed through the city on Thursday.

People in Carlisle have been thanked for helping to turn the city blue for an inspirational young boy.
The funeral of Stanley Dalton, three, of Carlisle, was held at Carlisle Cemetery Chapel yesterday after people were urged to line the streets to pay their respects.
Stan was escorted to the service in an all-white horse and carriage decorated in blue bows to the sound of applause by onlookers.
He died in January after a long battle with a rare form of cancer.
A fundraising campaign was launched to pay for life-saving treatment for Stan, who had T-CELL Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. ....

Tributes flood in for 'brave' Stanley


Tributes have come flooding in for a toddler who sadly passed away after battling a rare form of cancer.
Stanley Dalton, 3, from Carlisle, died on Sunday after a “brave battle” with T-CELL Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, which he was diagnosed with in March, 2019.
Stanley travelled to Singapore to be treated for the cancer last August, after the Carlisle community rallied together to raise more than £500,000 for the pioneering treatment.
After months of treatment, he returned to England where he was receiving chemotherapy at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle. Tributes have poured in for the toddler, who touched the lives of so many people. ....

Toddler Stanley Dalton - who inspired the £500,000 Save Our Stan campaign


Stanley Dalton, of Carlisle, was first diagnosed with leukaemia in March 2019.
He had his first bone marrow transplant in August of that year, but in October, his family were told he had relapsed.
He began a trial of a drug which appeared to get his leukaemia under control and made him eligible for a second transplant.
However, in June last year, the family was told that the leukaemia had returned and they began a campaign to raise £500,000 to take him to Singapore for a medical trial, not available in the UK.
Thanks to the support of the community, the family raised the cash. ....
