NEW CANAAN It was just about four years ago when Jennifer Dulos told a family court judge how her estranged husband warned he’d “disappear” with their children if she filed for divorce, threatened her financially and, in one instance, chased her around their home in a fit of rage, according to court documents.
The mother of five’s request for a restraining order, however, was denied because a judge said she was unable to prove she was the victim of physical abuse.
It marked the beginning of a contentious divorce and custody dispute that spanned two years and included more than 400 court filings up until her disappearance in May 2019. ....
