Monticello man arrested on 5 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material

MONTICELLO, Fla. (WTXL) — A Monticello man was arrested by Florida Department of Law Enforcement officers on Friday for allegedly possessing child sexual abuse material.
According to FDLE, 24-year-old Stephen James Monroe II possessed videos of children as young as eight years old being sexually exploited on his computer after a search warrant was conducted at his home.
The investigation also showed that Monroe was also live chatting with juveniles on the Omegle social media platform.
The investigation began with a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding an internet user uploading child sexual abuse material to an online account, according to FDLE officials. ....
