Vaccination event is set for Saturday | The Stokes News

The Stokes County Health Department. will be partnering with Stokes County EMS to offer another drive-thru vaccination event this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Stokes Early College campus on Dodgetown Road.
“We are currently scheduling appointments for this event and are excited to be able to offer the Johnson and Johnson vaccine as well as the Moderna vaccine,” said Joanie Spencer of the county Health Department.
Residents interested in receiving a COVID-19 vaccination should call 336-593-2400, then choose option 7. Callers will be asked to leave your name, phone number and date of birth. You can also submit your contact information and birthday in an email to covid19@co.stokes.nc.us. Health officials will call back to schedule an appointment. ....

DANBURY On the highway just north of LifeBrite Hospital there’s a billboard with an image of a person emerging from a tunnel into the light. The message, of course, is that these two new vaccines arriving this week will help bring COVID to an end … eventually.
That can’t happen soon enough for the staff at LifeBrite.
