Across the Melksham and Bradford on Avon Primary Care Network (PCN) 6,500 patients have been vaccinated. And according to PCN which is made up of the Bradford on Avon & Melksham Health Partnership, Giffords Surgery and Spa Medical Practice by next weekend almost 10,000 jabs will have made their way into the arms of residents. A spokesman for the PCN said: “We have vaccinated all patients in our local Care Homes and their staff, as well as around 90 per cent of patients living in their own homes, who are housebound.” The group is currently in the midst of vaccinating the 70 to 74 age group, as well as other high risk people. ....

The NHS has ramped up the nationwide mass roll-out programme by increasing the number of vaccination centres available for people to use.
