Alan Glenn Beavers


Alan Glenn Beavers passed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Sunday, July 25, 2021. Alan was born March 6, 1946, in Davenport, Iowa, the only child of Glenn and Carma Beavers, who preceded him in death.
He graduated from Davenport Central High School the class of 1964 and subsequently graduated from Iowa State University. He was active in the Theta Chi Fraternity while at Iowa State. This association provided a lifetime of treasured friendships. He served as an Armor officer in the United States Army in Germany from 1970 until 1972.
He began his career in industrial management at International Harvester, Farmall Plant where he met his wife and lifelong partner, Mary. It was there he got into Labor/Employee Relations management, which marked his subsequent career; serving as Labor Relations Manager for RCA in Lancaster, PA and Human Resources Director for the Pfaltzgraff Co. in York, PA. During his semi-retirement, he drove a school bus and tour motor coaches thro ....

Vicki Alica (Clabough) Wilson


Mrs. Vicki Alica (Clabough) Wilson, age 69, passed away on Feb. 17, 2021, after a 13-year long battle with breast cancer.
Vicki passed peacefully at home, surrounded by family as she drifted away to be with the Lord. She was a well-loved pillar in her communities of Maryville and Seymour. She was born Aug. 6, 1951, in Maryville, Tennessee, to loving parents Robert “Hickey” and Elliot Clabough.
Vicki held various occupations in her lifetime, including several in the retail industry; however, she took enormous pride in the work she provided in the Children’s section of the Blount County Public Library. She was known for her abilities as a fantastic storyteller and cherished every moment she spent with her community’s many children. She was an active member of her community and spent numerous hours volunteering ....

Susie Atkins
Susie “Sue” Atkins, loving wife of 66 years, mother, and grandmother left this Earth to be with her Lord and Savior on December 15, 2020 at the age of 87. Sue always placed others before herself, she had a servant’s heart and spent her life serving and caring for others. Some of the joys of Sue’s life still flourish in her garden, as she spent many hours using her green thumb to cultivate beautiful roses and plants of many kinds. She enjoyed preserving her garden’s bounty by canning foods and passing those skills on to her children and grandchildren. Sunday’s were a special day for Sue as there was always family in her living room to visit and enjoy a meal, she had lovingly prepared. Sue had a heart of gratitude and as she would always say “I’ve been blessed ten times over.” Sue is preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Cooper. She is survived by her loving husband, Rudolph Atkins, retired from the University of Tenne ....
