There is nothing humane about President Biden’s immigration policies.
We’ve seen the video of human traffickers dropping a three-year-old and her five-year-old sister from a 14 foot border wall. Another heartbreaking video shows a ten-year-old boy sobbing because he had been left behind all alone by smugglers because he fell asleep. A six-month old baby girl was saved by Texas Rangers and Border Patrol agents after she was thrown into the Rio Grande by smugglers trying to distract and get away from the Border Patrol. ....

City Approves Off Road Vehicle Use


    The Española City Council unanimously voted at its April 13 meeting to amend a new ordinance allowing the use of off-highway vehicles (OHV) on city owned and controlled roads. The ordinance was heard and discussed during its first public hearing.
    The discussion leading up to the vote featured public comment from members of the OHV operators community and was tense at times as the council worked to clarify the ordinance’s interaction with existing state law on the issue.
    Councilor Justin Salazar-Torres presented ordinance 2021-01, which has progressed through the Public Safety Committee and was advertised on March 18. The title of the ordinance allows all-terrain vehicles, but that was struck from the language of the law to only allow OHVs, which are operated with a steering wheel and non-straddled seating similar to cars or trucks. ....
