CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Bond is set at $500,000 for the woman charged with abuse of the corpse of her deceased granddaughter.
LaTonya Austin, 42, was arrested on May 8, according to court documents.
Around April 9 in the 2200 block of Schoedinger Avenue, Austin put her granddaughterâs body into multiple trash bags and then placed the trash bags in a cooler, according to the criminal complaint.

The trial for Father Geoff Drew was scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Monday, but that is now delayed, his attorney tells FOX19 NOW.
Father Drew, 59, has pleaded not guilty to nine counts of rape and remains at the Hamilton County Justice Center in lieu of $5 million bond.

The trial for Father Geoff Drew was scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Monday, but it was changed after his lawyer said he requested more time. This is the third delay for the trial in the past 14 months, court records show.
Father Drew, 59, has pleaded not guilty to nine counts of rape and remains at the Hamilton County Justice Center in lieu of $5 million bond.

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - The trial for a Cincinnati-area priest accused of raping a 10-year-old altar boy three decades ago is being delayed again, FOX19 NOW has confirmed.
This the third time the trial of Father Geoff Drew, 59, has been postponed in the past 14 months, court records show.
He has pleaded not guilty to nine counts of rape and faces life in prison if convicted.
Father Drew’s trial was delayed as well last fall, on Oct. 13, 2020, to Monday at the request of both prosecutors and Drew’s defense attorney, Brad Moermond.
