The Griffiss International Airport in Rome is getting more than $57,000 out of the $36.5 million in relief funding awarded to New York State to help airports struggling during the pandemic.
Sen. Chuck Schumer and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand helped secure the funding to help keep airports open to support travel and tourism, especially in rural areas.
