“Ernie” was born on June 24, 1938, in Cleveland, Tennessee.
He attended high school at Meigs County, and graduated from Rockwood High School in 1956.  He played football and basketball throughout high school.
He started his career at the Addressograph-Multigraph Corporation in 1961 as a salesman, and later worked his way up to regional manager over the Midwest division.  While at the company he achieved eight consecutive Hundred Club awards for sales quota attainment at the branches he managed.  He also was the youngest branch manager in the history of the company.  
He is survived by his loving wife, Jean, of 63 years; his sister, Dorothy Creasman; his son, Tim (Amy) Jollay; his daughter, Pam Jollay (Bobby) Walls; and grandchildren, Daniel Jollay, Jordan Walls, Brannon Walls, Stratton Walls, and Pierson Walls; great-granddaughter, Tinsley Kirksey; nephew, David (Deborah) Creasman; and great-niece Leah ....

Robert Lee Ferrell, Jr., 96, of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 25, 2021.
He was preceded in death by wife of 74 years, Virginia Ferrell, his parents, siblings, and grandson, Shawn.
Robert is survived by his daughters, Peggy Silliman and Sandra Ferrell, granddaughter, Sherry (Chet) Groce, Tammy (Chris) Locklear, great-grandsons, Christopher, Trey and Jase.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 1, in the Chapel of Devotion at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.  Entombment will follow the services.  There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Due to Covid-19, we request that mask be worn at all times at the cemetery, and that all Hamilton County and the CDC s mandates be adhered to. ....

Mary Elizabeth “Liz” Baldridge, 85, of Chattanooga, passed away early Monday morning, February 22, 2021, at her home Summit View Senior Community.
Liz was born in Belmont, N.C., and grew up in Lake Worth, Fl. She attended Peabody College in Nashville, not only earning a teaching degree, but also discovering the love of her life, Harry, on her first day on campus.
Liz was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, and two brothers, Forest and Larry Beaty. 
She is survived by four children, Trish (Howie) Burger, Julie (Olin) Wilson, Chip (Lori) Baldridge, and Skip (Kelley) Baldridge respectively.  She experienced much joy from her 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. ....

Roy Dean Brookshire, 82, was surrounded by family when he passed into the presence of the Lord on January 29, 2021, at Hospice of Chattanooga.
 
Roy was born to Joseph and Relia Moore Brookshire on May 1, 1938, in Elizabethton, Tn. He met his wife of 57 years, Joyce Trivett, in the second grade in Piney Flats, Tn., and they were happily married in November 1957. The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Chattanooga, unaware at the time that it would later become their home of more than 50 years.
 
Roy and Joyce made their first home in Washington, D.C., where Roy worked for the Navy Department from 1956 to 1960. He attended George Washington University before moving to Bristol, Tenn., where he graduated from ETSU with a B.S. in accounting in 1963. Upon graduation, Roy accepted a position with Arthur Andersen’s Chattanooga office. In 1977, he joined Hazlett, Lewis and Bieter as ....
