Alzheimer s Association raises funds, awareness of disease

MONTCALM COUNTY  An organization dedicated to helping those affected by Alzheimer’s disease is calling on the community to raise funds and awareness. 
The Alzheimer’s Association announced the date and location for this year’s Montcalm and Ionia Walk to End Alzheimer’s. This year’s event takes place later this year, Sept. 18, at Frugthaven Farm, 11466 W. Carson City Road, in Greenville.  
Teams and individuals can register for the event and start raising funds at: act.alz.org/mci. 
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event dedicated to Alzheimer’s care, support and research, according to a press release.  ....
