They say that the devil is in the details. For a company that has been around since 1923 and employs over 700 employees, E.R. Snell Contractor, Inc. has a lot of details to deal with every day. The family-operated company based in Atlanta, GA performs a variety of transportation construction jobs from Augusta to Macon and northern Georgia including roadway work, structural bridge work, and asphalt paving and sales. On any given summer day, E.R. Snell is dispatching 150 to 200 asphalt trucks, a vast majority of which are third party truckers. In handling their daily trucking, executive vice president Jared Snell knew there had to be a better way to manage the mountain of details that impact his company’s operations. James Robert “Jim” Crea
James Robert “Jim” Crea, 86, of Fayetteville, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Grady Hospital Trauma Center in Atlanta. He was born in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late John and Caroline Crea.
When Jim graduated from College Park High School, he attended Valdosta State College for one year before joining the U.S. Army, serving from 1954-1957. During this time, he spent a year on St. Lawrence Island in Alaska where he was a Morse code interceptor.
After his military service, he held a variety of jobs, including loading milk trucks for Sealtest Foods in Atlanta, managing a Shell Oil Company gas station in College Park, and eventually joining Northwest Airlines in 1965 as a ramp agent, first at O’Hare Airport in Chicago and then at Hartsfield International Airport in Atlanta. He retired from Northwest in 1993. ....

The G League is back . or will be soon. Reports out of Forbes Sports Money and ESPN suggest preparations will begin in three weeks with a targeted Opening Night in early February. And for the first time, veteran players will be permitted to join G League rosters.
According to a tweet from Adam Zagoria of Forbes Sports Money on Thursday, the G League will begin preparing for a shortened season on January 13 with an “at-home” quarantine for all their players and staff. Games, according to Zagoria, won’t begin until February 8. ....
