Harlan county man arrested for murder following shooting

HARLAN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Harlan County man is in jail on murder charges after a Saturday night shooting.
According to Kentucky State Police, they received a call about a shooting at Eastbrook Apartments, near the Harlan city limits, just after 7 p.m. Saturday night.
Police said an initial investigation shows that several people were fighting in a parking lot when 53-year-old Irvin Harris shot 18-year-old Gavin McClain once.
Police said an ambulance took McClain to Harlan ARH where he was pronounced dead by the Harlan County Coroner Philip Bianchi. ....
