Highland County SWCD announces $873K grant for Rocky Fork Watershed conservation

During the April 28 Highland County commission meeting, representatives of the Highland County Soil & Water Conservation District announced that they were awarded an $873,000 grant Monday through the Regional Conservation Partnership Program.
Highland County SWCD operations manager Pam Bushelman and district technician Chuck Williams said that the SWCD was announced April 26 as one of just 10 districts across the country to be awarded this grant through the United States Department of Agriculture.
