Over £300,000 Worth of Drugs Seized Following Intelligence Led Operation in Holme Wood Friday 30 April 2021 A community intelligence led operation in Holme Wood has resulted in multiple arrests and substantial amounts of drugs seized. Bradford’s Programme Precision Team were supported by NPT, district investigative officers, Bradford CID, and District Crime Teams. The aim of the operation was to tackle and disrupt organised criminality in the area. On Thursday 29 and Friday 30 April, the teams executed six warrants at various locations in the Holme Wood area totalling in 5 arrests and a substantial quantity of drugs seized. At a property on Wentworth Crescent, Bradford teams recovered a large-scale cannabis grow with approximately 300 plants. The substantial cannabis grow has an estimated value of in excess of £280,000. ....

Bradford Crown Court Two Bradford women have been spared jail for their part in a cocaine supplying conspiracy after transforming their lives in the more than three years since their arrest. Kirsty Warde, 28, of Brendon Walk, Tong, Bradford, and Billijo Norton, 28, of Wansford Close, Tong, Bradford, were drug-addicted “runners” for Dean Doyle who was imprisoned for nine years at Bradford Crown Court on April 16. Doyle, 39, of Carrbottom Road, Greengates, Bradford, was also sentenced for possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. His brother John Doyle, 34, of Oddy Street, Tong, Bradford, was an accomplice in that offence and also admitted two charges of making a threat to kill the father and son whose property in the Holme Wood area of Bradford they targeted. ....
