Dawn-Ann Killam is my full name. Born in Moncton and run my business out of my home. I have created a studio, full of fabric, lace, beads and many other trimmings to create beautiful dresses that make every woman and girl feel special. . I design dresses to sell as well as take orders for custom design special occasion gowns for proms and weddings. I also specialize in all types of alterations, especially formal gowns but also on everyday clothing. . I am also a Registered Nurse, University of New Brunswick Nursing graduate. . My design, creating and sewing is for the love I have in wonderful occasions that make people feel special. My alterations for those who I enjoy doing something for, I sew because I love to not because I have to. For me that makes a difference.. I have been doing the sewing and alterations for a total of 34 years, as of this year and was taught by my grandmother. I was taught to sew everything by hand then moved to a treadle sewing machine then to a electric sewing machine. To this day, I still use my first sewing machine given to me by my grandmother.
