Emery's Tree Service is a family-owned business and has been taking care of the needs of our community and customers for over 30 years.. . Dale and Barb Emery of Delano, MN started Emery’s Tree Service in the late 70’s. However, years before Emery’s Tree Service began, Dale worked as a tree trimmer for Kelley and Kelley landscaping in Wayzata, MN. When Kelley and Kelley stopped offering tree trimming as a service, Dale set off to become an independent tree trimmer and picked up all of his referrals from Kelley and Kelley. It didn’t stop there...Soon after, snowplowing was added to the list of services Emery’s Tree Service offered. Once again, receiving referrals from Kelley and Kelley the business continued to grow. In 1981 the business was incorporated. In January of 1998, Dale retired but kept the business in the family.. . Today, Emery’s Tree Service is operated by Barb Emery and her two sons, John and Doug, and long-time employee Jim Kasheimer. Emery's services the entire Minnesota Metro Area and some parts of Wisconsin. Although the business is far-reaching, Emery's remains committed to being an active, community-based business by sponsoring community-based organizations and functions such as:. . Watertown graduation party, prom, and scholarship fund. Delano Destination ImagiNation. Delano graduation party and prom. Delano/Loretto United Fund. . These organizations and functions are near-and-dear to the Emery family as John and Doug reside in Delano, MN, Jim resides in Watertown, MN, and their children and grandchildren live in (or attend) schools in the Delano and Watertown area.
