For your convenience we stock many popular brands of contact lenses in the office. . We diagnose, manage and treat many eye conditions such as infections, allergies, and dry eyes as well as eye injuries. Our cutting edge technology assists the doctors in the diagnosis and management of many eye diseases including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. We also co-manage with skilled surgeons in the areas of cataract and LASIK surgery. Our goal is to provide our patients with healthy eyes and clear, comfortable vision from infancy through adulthood.. . Dr. Hattan is originally from Concordia, Kansas. He graduated from Concordia High School, Kansas State University and Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Hattan has practiced in Hays since 1981. He merged his practice with Dr. Jerry Akers in January of 2000. The practice relocated at that time to the current location at 1517 E. 27th. Dr. Akers retired in March of 2010. Dr. Hattan is a member of the Kansas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.. . Dr. Taylor is originally from McCracken and graduated from Ellis High School and FHSU. He attended the Oklahoma College of Optometry where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Taylor completed his externship at Triad Eye Medical Clinic in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys relaxing with his wife, Breanna, and dog, Paisley. .
