Detailed description is Our Little Piece Of Heaven On Earth Howell Hill (as it has been dubbed) is our little 3 1/2 acre hill that God has blessed us with.
Over the years we've modified, changed, and altered the house and the landscape to suit our needs and as much as our finances and time would allow, and though it may not be the most beautiful house on the block, it is home to us, and has been home to many others as well.
We don't have an abundance of wildlife, but every once in a while nature will surprise us with one of God's creatures showing up at our back door.
We don't have an abundance of fertile ground for growing a fine garden, but when health permits we have one fine looking flower bed every couple of years.
Most of our 3 1/2 acres is inaccessible, and difficult to maneuver, but I guess that helps us maintain our privacy.
My late wife passed away on October 1st, 2015 and I by no means are what you'd refer to as an empty nester and most likely never will be, but those who have left the nest seem to find their way back, especially around the holidays.
