In 1983, I received a Master’s Degree in Immunology from the University of California at San Francisco, and was board certified by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in 1991.. . Frustrated with the results of western medicine for chronic illnesses, I studied with Dr. Richard Pitcairn in Professional and Advanced Veterinary Homeopathy and became certified in acupuncture by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society.. .
